If I suspected my CMOS battery was going bad, what would I do? DOS makes me hit F1 every time I try to boot up before it will go to Windows. Can it be replaced? How?

Generally the first sign a battery is dying, is the date and/or time start to lose accuracy.
Make a note of your bios settings before replacing the battery.
The reason for this, is that if it is out for too long (maybe as low as 3 mins) the bios resets to default values.
Good luck - keep us posted.

You should go into your BIOS & CMOS and document your settings B/4 removing the coin battery on the M.B. You may lose the settings when you remove the battery ? Good Luck ,Nick
