in my bios setup i'm seeing the battery voltage measurement reading 1.3v, is this some kind of BIOS prank?? aren't cmos batteries suppose to deliver 3.3 volts?
my motherboard is a fairly new(ly aquired) nforce2 motherboard, an MSI K7N2 Delta L, bought approx. 8-10 months ago i replaced the battery with another one from an old 6VBA133 which is supposed to be all worn out and discharged, and i keep reading 1.3v

Dont know where you got the 3.3v from. 1.3v sounds about right for a single cell NiCad or LiIon battery.

i assumed it should read something near 3.3v cause the battery says it's 3.3v on a side, and also someone said he gets around 3.0v on a similar motherboard of the same brand
i'm going to post the whole (insanely) long winded problem on another thread cause i've sincerely ran out of things to try (short of borrowing an atx power source from someone and swapping it in)
