I just bought these from the local data shop: http://www.fellowes.com/Fellowes/Re...

Cost 8,00 euros.

EDIT: I now used those cleaning wipes and screen is now clean, but i don't like how it left the screen "messy". I mean that if you look closer and/or with the flashlight, you can see those cleaning marks. Especially you can see it, when the screen is totally black.

Samsung recommends a soft cloth dampened with water.

I use an old white cotton athletic sock turned inside out. Don't scrub and use the same kind of dry cloth to finish.

That "stuff" in cleaning wipes leaves wiping marks to the screen. How can i get rid off those?

Can't help you there. If there was some type of solvent in the wipes it may have damaged the antiglare coating.

I suggest you post on the DELL tech support site and see if they can be of any help. There are probably some cleaners that are safe to use on the surface but I wouldn't know what ones.

What do the instructions on the wipes package say?

I don't think that the screen is damaged any way. Screen is just kind of messy looking after using those wet screen wipes.

I can't really explain it. You can see it when screen is totally black and you see it very clearly if you look with flashlight.

I understand. I still think the safe thing is to refer back to DELL and your manual. It may well state a mild cleaner is OK.

It says this: "To clean your antistatic screen, lightly dampen a soft, clean cloth with water. If possible, use a special screen-cleaning tissue or solution suitable for the antistatic coating."

I used that "if possible" method. Check the link on my ealier post and you can see what i used.

Well it doesn't really matter, because you can't see it on normal use. Anyway there's no dirty spots on screen anymore, which is good.

Just buse an old duster ,I wouldnt use water near a computer and probably if you buy some industrial cleaner it will have some alcohol in it!!
Dont forget to clean your glasses as well!!

Once again, SnakeBoy's answer is non-helpful & downright wrong. A vacuum is one of the worst things you can use on ANY PC component due to the static electricity it creates.

A monitor screen should be cleaned with either a store bought solution designed for such purpose or a 50/50 mixture of alcohol & distilled water...tap water is NOT recommended. Glass cleaners such as Windex should also not be used.

NOTE: I use the water from my basement dehumidifier

I agree with 'jam' - I've been using the homemade alcohol/distilled water mixture to clean my laptop screens for several years. I use a cloth designed to clean eyeglasses.
