I am building my own computer I have an idea what I am getting now, but I still need some quality RAM & a cheap Graphic card that will run Sims 2 any recommendations?
I was thinking of maybe double layered RAM but don't know what make is best and can't see any cheap.
I am not game mad but I would like a card to at least play Sims 2 and Unreal Tourney 2004 at a decent speed with good graphics.
Also can anyone recommend ways of making my internet speed faster? Is there any hardware I can buy to make it go that little more faster especially when downloading.

You have a P3 Packard Bell? Exactly, what it the model number/serial number and what country was the machine purchased in?
How do you connect to the internet? Dial-up or hi-speed?
We can't help without information pertinent to your questions.
Do you have the user manual for your machine?
Does your PB meet the minimum requirements for Sims 2 and UT2004?I asked more questions than you asked.

If this upgrade is for a P3 system, you'll need to get either PC100 or PC133. And if you get PC133, you'll need to be aware of the "high density vs low density" compatibility issue with older boards.
As for a video card, you didn't say whether it has to be PCI or AGP. And if it's AGP, you'll need to know what AGP voltage your board supports.
If you're using dialup, there's not a hell of a lot you can do to speed up downloads, although some 56K modems do perform better than others

No Pentium 3 is what I have at the moment this is what I am getting so far:
AMD 64 3000+
ASUS A8V Deluxe
Audigy 2 ZS
Sony DRU-710AI am using a DSL internet connection
