Any comments on this setup?

Looks great to me.
ddr333 will perform the same as ddr400 if you are not going to mess with the fsb and multiplier on that 2500+.
Get good speakers.
I assume they'll need all that 120mb for music and videos.
Make sure their gaming needs are only moderate with that fx5200.

I would not get the Geforce FX 5200 Ultra, Instead, I would rather get the Geforce 4 Ti4200 or an Radeon 9500 np.

Cool, I'll probably switch over to some form of DDR333 and then try to go with some beefier graphics like maybe a FX 5600 Ultra or a Radeon 9600.

Pricewatch lists Maxtor 120Gb, 7200RPM, 8Mb, ATA133 drives for about $15 more than the Seagates. I think the 8Mb cache alone is worth the money. I don't know about the Seagates, but Diamond Max 9s have fluid bearings, which should make the drive quieter and last longer.

also make sure if you get the 5600ultra its the new one 400mhz rather than the 350mhz fx card then overclock it to 5900ultra specs
Summary: Pardon me for jumping in here, but if you want a cheap PC, don't bother building it. Building a computer these days is for performance, not cost cutting. The one I'm doing now will cost a bit over ...
