Specs: Windows XP, Celleron 1.7 256 Mu
Can I change my motherboard and still use my winxp
oem version on the new board or do I need to get anther win xp os?

My guess would be no you can't unless it is a very close copy of the OEM. You most likely can't swap say a gigabyte for an asus.

They normally don't way what component(s) are used to lock in the version. I think it is a cheap shot by MS and the OEM's.

Might hurry up and download Windows 7. Should work for a while.
