My sons old comp. has a 1mb on board video , i have a old pci matrox 8mb card laying around here,
what do i need to do after i install it in the comp. eg; go into bios or jumper on mb???
It is a compaq deskpro

You will need a Video PCI slot, and install the drivers for the card. Don't try to accidentally install it in a AGP slot, if the compaq has one.
