I have a Toshiba Satelitte Lapton with Win7 as the O/S.
When I use my USB Card Reader I get a message telling me that the device will run faster if connected to a Hi Speed Port, and a list of available ports is displayed. So far so good, I would be delighted if I can get my card reader to run faster, but how do I do it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It appears your laptop has USB 2.0 ports. Is your card reader USB 3.0 compatible? If it is, it's "looking" for USB 3.0 but since it's not available, it has to run at USB 2.0 speed & it's telling it could run faster. However, if it's a USB 2.0 device & is running at USB 1.X speed, you probably need to install the USB 2.0 drivers.
