Specs: Windows 7, 4G
My Dell XPS Black laptop comes with:

Movil Intel 965 Express Chipset Family Adaptor

Total Available Graphics Memory **** 358 MB
Dedicated Video Memory **** 0 MB
System Video Memory **** 128 MB
Shared System Memory **** 230 MB

I want to increase the Dedicated Video Memory because I want to use my computer on gaming and it needs a lot of memory...
I tried to enter the BIOS but it says that this view is for information only and do not let me change the memory from there...

Please can anyone help me :/
Thanks in advanced :)

Are you sure about that info? I just googled up "Dell XPS 17" & it's a modern gaming laptop with a Core i-7 CPU & nvidia 3GB dedicated graphics. It defintely is not based on the "Intel 965 Express Chipset".

You cannot increase dedicated video memory. But I suspect the real problem isn't the size of video memory but the lack of features in the video system. Laptops almost always have integrated video that cannot be upgraded.

Laptops are designed for portability, Internet access, and relatively modest computing power. With rare exceptions they do not make good gaming machines.
