Specs: Windows server 2008, 16 GB
I have a backup drive on a USB connection. If I have a disk drive loaded and if I reboot the system it seems to default to the usb connected disc drive. I do not want it to start on the usb device. So how do I change it so it will look first to drive C:

Go into BIOS Setup and in the "Boot" section, change the boot device sequence so that the drive you want the system to boot from is the first device in the sequence.

Otherwise, disconnect the external drive before you power up the system. Plug it back in when Windows has loaded.

When I go into the Bios setup on Windows server 2008 R2 by hitting Cntl S it does not give me the ability to change the boot configuration. It seems that 2008 R2 has a different method of changing the Bios setup.
