Hello I have a problem regarding the sound. I have PCIE X - FI Titanium fatality Pro Series and suppose to have surround system together with Inspire t6200. I did check for 5.1 speaker but when I tried to test using creative audio controler , the sound came out from both left and center and right and center. Now the center and both rear speaker have muffled voice or sound. I tried to talk to creative customer service that only they can say down load driver. I have the newest driver.and i have set to 5.1 speaker. I dont know is my speaker or my sound card is gone bad. PS: the speaker i just bought Recently
There are many variables involved in setting up your 5.1 sound. Do you have a sub woofer that all the other speakers connect to? If so, then you may need to connect it to line out on the card. If a different speaker setup the wiring will be different.
Yes I have the other speaker connect to Sub Woofer. From the woofer there is 3 cable Green Orange and black. Since both from Creative so I just connect follow the Color of the plug. However, The problem my center and rear are muffled . I tried to ask customer service over Creative and they dont help at all. I might get some help from this forum Thank You
Thank You for your reply, The problem is when I set up for 2.1 the sound came out from front right speaker and center for right channel and Left and center speaker for left channel. so the Center speaker is ok. Since the speaker rear and front are the same I switched the cable and the sound are find except for 5.1 configuration.
The speakers are ok but the sound still coming out from the sub woofer. I tried by switching the plug to sound card but no result. So when I set up to 5.1 center and rear channel are coming out from the subwoofer.
I have a felling that because of the speaker system you have you may need to use a different setup in the Creative software. Most of those sub woofer setups can be connected directly to the card too. That is assuming there are the correct ports on the card.
