I recently purchased a Celeron 420 1.6 GHz Conroe-L processor from ebay for $23 bucks still sealed in the retail package. Im trying to find a cheaper motherboard to go along with it. is there any recomendations? what motherboard will support this processor? I have looked at many different ones on www.newegg.com, but dont know exactly which one to buy. Im looking to keep the price around 30 bucks, for a cheap install.

If possible, stay away from VIA or SiS based boards. Stick with boards based on Intel or nVidia chipsets. You're probably gonna have to bump up your budget a bit due to shipping costs. Do you want onboard video? What about "open box" or boards w/rebates?

Im fine with open box items and rebates. On board video would be nice. Im just trying to get a list of boards that fits this processor....the cheapest if possible!

I agree completely with jam about staying away from SiS and VIA boards. I've had very bad experience with VIA boards.
Micro-ATX motherboards usually have on-board video. They are usually compatible with standard ATX cases. The catch is that you get fewer PCI slots.
Your processor is a socket LGA 775, right? If so, I don't see why this one won't work:

It has on-board VGA, Intel chipset, $36 with shipping. It says it's in good condition. This is the cheapest board on eBay, so jump on it if you want it.
