Hi Guys,
I need a pinout diagram for a CE92HM (from - i think - C & C Tech) power supply for an LCD monitor. I know the voltage combination is 12v 2amp AND 5v 2amp and the connector is a PS/2 (mouse/kb) style connector (6 pin).If anyone has one of these power supplies could they please send me a pinout? Thanks

What are your symptoms? If you have a PS, it might not be that PS that is the problem at all. The most common things to go on an LCD monitor are the backlight (CCFL) and the voltage inverter (supplies high voltage to the backlight).

according to label underneath my ce92hm:
input 100-240v ~1A 50/60Hzoutput 12V = 2A
5V = 2A1:4 12V DC
3:6 5V DC
2:5 GNDdiagram of plug - locator pin at top
pins number 1-3 clockwise down and continue 4-6 clockwise upwardshope this helps - nuff

nuff:
We haven't heard from burnesit since his original post, so I doubt he will see your info.
Obviously if he had looked on the bottom of his own monitor, the pinouts may be there too.
A search of the web using: CE92HM power supply finds similar info:
"On the drawing (on ps)
12 V pin 1 & 4
5 V pin 3 & 6
GND pin 2 & 5 "
etc.

a schematic here:
"C & C TECH CE92HM 12/5v switching line lump (used in L.C.D. monitor)"

and a replacement PS here:

No-one is saying which pins are the + for volts, so if you made a power supply which way would you make the connections to the ps/2 plug

Use those little grey cells.
Both pins 1 and 4 are +12v
Both pins 3 and 6 are +5v
Both pins 2 and 5 are ground = - (minus)It doesn't matter if the ground - minus - for both 5v and 12v are connected together, and both ground pins probably connect to each other, in fact it's preferable that they are all connected to each other.
