Hi all!

My cd-writer crashes sometimes while reading cd-rw's, and in some cases it doesent get allocated even by bios after reboot! The drive is Philips PCRW-404, The OS is Win2k, the motherboard ASUS p3bf with a 440 chipset. There was software for this chipset, but there is no version for it for win2k.

Can anyone help, what to do?

Thanks anyway!

nik
