Comment:

I have a Win XP comp running at 1.9Ghz, 256 RAM, 40Gb with cd-rom/DVD combo drive and separate CDRW drive.
I seem to be having sound problems with my cd-rom/dvd drive. I normally use windows media player to play cds and interactual player to play dvds but the sound isn't clear. The sound is all bumpy and stops every now and then.
The separate CDRW drive plays the cds and dvds perfectly with no problems at all.
Please can you help?!

your cd-rom's lense might be dirty, you just need to clean it, that's all.
