OS: Win XP Home SP2
CPU/Ram: 1 gig
Comment:

Have power to both drives, but in the Device list, they are shown with Yellow !. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing. They don't appear in the directories either.

Error message when checking Properties:

Windows cannot load the device drivers for this hardware. Drivers may be corrupt or missing.

I checked in CABS and find nothing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as always!!

Are you sure that they are cabled correctly?
Are you sure that they are plugged Master/Slave correctly (one Master and the other Slave)?

Thanks, yes. I have tried every conceivable way as far as jumpers. I set the first one on the cable as master and the second as slave.

Try to split them to different IDE cables, ie: having one pared up with the system OS drive on the primary IDE chanel and having the other on the Secondary IDE channel. It should look something like this:

Primary Master: HDD with OS
Primary Slave: CD-ROm
Secondary Master:DVD-RW
Secondary Slave: other hdd

It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice...
