I got one of those christmas card viruses. i removed the virus however ever since, my cd rom does not work. i have uninstalled and reinstalled. upon reinstallation my computer alerts me that the device was not intalled properly. i have updated the driver, rolled back and even tried a different cd-rom drive and it always says the same thing in the device manager: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)". Please, someone help! Thanks for looking.
