Comment:
A few weeks ago i took out the cd rom drive out of the IBM thinkpad to make the laptop lighter because i didnt really need the drive. Today i tried puting it back in but for some reason it's not being detected by windows (or bios) but it was working perfectly fine a few weeks ago.
The drive does turn on for example when i first put a cd in the drive u can hear it spin for a few seconds then stops.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem could be?
