I Recently had a full system crash which led to some 2 sec restarts i was able to get my system to boot and running fine but one problem that really gets on my nerves is my CD\DVD drive. about 3 days after i fixed my laptop my CD\DVD drive went out (it does this sometimes)i checked for the upper and lower filters and had no luck like always and then i began to check other things such as virus's and BIOS detection and i get nothing. i know that the drive works its been tested in another laptop that is the same model. the device controller works ive had to swap drives at times. i dont know why it does this but i could use all the help that i can get..someone please assist me with this issue.

thank you

Bios can't recognize the drive? Try to re-install the drive (may be the drive isn't connected correct).
