CD/DVD Drive HELP . Wont read DVD's

Specs: Windows XP
Hello I have no idea whats going on I havent had my computer long maybe 6 months at most.Yesterday I was Backing up my DVD's For use in the car I did about 4 of them And then my DVD/CD drive stoped Reconizing DVD's all together burned,blank,and Regular store bought DVD's I havnt not tryed CD's to see if it will reconize them i thought maybe it just got hot restared and let it sit . still nothing.I do not do alot of burning at all what so ever My Cd/DVD drive rarely gets used really. I have had problems in the past with it reconizing Burned DVDs Burned from my other computer For backing them up. But it didnt bother me so much then but im stuck as to why its doing this. and i have no idea what to do to try to "fix it" any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Oh and yes i DO indeed have a DVD drive it is
disk drive: WCD WD 200js-22mhbo
DVD/CD rom drives:TSS Cor[ cd/DVDw sh-w162L

If that helps any

Also if i go to My computer and right click to properties on my cd/dvd drive and go to Hardware and look at the device Status It says the device is working properly
