Can someone with technical experience please help out a lost soul? I recently purchased an Optorite CD-Writer which included the Nero burning software and I've had nothing but bad luck with the system. I downloaded the upgrade from the Nero web site and I'm able to "burn" to a CD but when I go to retrieve those files (pictures)from the burnt CD, I find five file folders and I'm unable to open them successfully. I find myself electronically frustrated and know that this system is user unfriendly. Any suggestions? Thank you for your assist!

This isn't going to seem very helpful, but have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the drive and the Nero people?
Or even less helpful, I use Adaptec software and have had no problems.

Are these files placed on cd-r or cd-r/w disk? Have you closed the session on the cd-r? If cd-r/w have you formated the disk first? I use Nero with no probs at all

Rancher; I too am a new owner of a CDRW. If one "copies" a CD does the session have to be closed out?
