cd stuck in drive

I put a cd in my cd/rw drive and it wouldn't open. Now the cd is stuck in the drive. The light is flashing as if trying to do something. I have tried the eject button and using MY COMPUTER to eject but no luck. Any suggestions?
Try restarting your PC, then eject it. be shure your cd drive is selected at the boot section

With the power off use a straightened paperclip to carefully probe the manual release hole in the front of the CDROM.You should find a small hole about 1mm in the faceplate under the drivetray. you should be able to retrieve your disk that way. the drive however may need replacing if the problem repeats.
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

If the CD was a CD/RW and you are using Nero/InCD then you need to open InCD from it's system tray icon and select Eject from it's right click menu.
