My CD ROMM is not running on auto run. Yes, it is set to do so & has in the past. When I put in a disk,I can open windows explorer & read what's on the disk. I can even click on & run a setup from the disk, But I can't get things to auto run, like games on disk or office. I've tried another CD ROMM but still I can't seem to get auto run to work. In device manager it says my CD ROMM is working fine, even in everest, new version of aida32 it says it working & reading the disk.
Any thoughts would be helpfull & muchly appreciated,
Thanks,Maxx

I just answered almost the exact same question yesterday in the ME forum. Try this:

Right click on My Computer & click Properties...click on Device Manager tab...click the " + " next to CDROM...right click on the name of your CD device...click properties...click the settings tab...make sure there's a check next to Auto insert notification.

If that doesn't work, download TweakUI, go to the paranoia tab & put a check in the box next to "play audio CDs automatically" & "play data CDs automatically"

You have to do the 1st thing before the TweakUI setting will work...
