Comment:

I had a problem with my CD Rom which is sometimes not detected and I thought it was the unit faulty, I bought a new Sony CD Rom and it works perfectly. Unfortunately, a week later the same problem came again. I reformat my HD and using the same CDrom to install W98,but after completing I restarted PC to win98 but the same problem arose even though replacing IDE cable. My question is why in Windows can be detected ?
