CD not inserted

CPU/Ram: Intel Celeron

I would like to get some advice how to make my CD-ROM Drive read or work with my CDs that saved as a backup from my corrupted hard drive. My CD-ROM Drive works very well with any other purchased CD.
But, I get a pop-up window saying "Please insert a CD", even though I inserted one.

if your cdrom is creative with remote control it has some problems on reading copy cds, if not let me know its model.
