I created some CD-RWs on my other PC, and when i put them in this computer's CD-ROM drive (a 24X LG CD drive) nothing happens, and it doesn't revognise anything is in the drive. The RWs are Philips 74Min CDs. Any ideas?

How old is the drive you're putting them into? Some old drives can't read RW's. Also, you have to do some funky formatting stuff depending on what burning software you're using. If you're not formatting them for use on another PC, then they won't work anywhere but the drive you burned them on.

Well i used Nero to write the files, and the drive i think is December 97 - which come to think of it is kind of old now! the CD does read in one of my other computers as well, thats got a 48X CD drive and it reads fine.
It's only this drive that seems to have the problems.
