Hi
My CD rom started, out of the blue, to openning and closing the tray non stop. It just keeps going... open-close-open-close-...etc.
Does anyone knows whats going on? Any ideas?
Thanks for any help.

Sounds like it's broke. But if you boot from a floppy and it still does it, that 'should' confirm that it's not a software problem.

Hi astropicachu:
Try pushing the eject button, it may be stuck which could cause the tray to go in & out.

Good luck,
Z
