Hi, Im dual booting my computer with my laptop hdd running 98.My desktop is running 98 se. Im using a hard drive out of my laptop as the secondary master and the cd drive as the secondary slave.(AS this seems to be the only way the drives dont conflict with each other) The Cd drive is usable in the 98 se boot but not from the laptop boot. I have had it working but it isnt now and I dont know how to fix it. Any suggestions.

Your post is confusing. Do you have more than one HD? You say "out of my laptop. If you mean the internal HD, you should have that set as primary master. The restore function may not work properly otherwise. What problem forced you to change these settings in the first place?
