I just recently purchased a computer program on a CD for my daughter which is supposed to help her vision problems. The files on the CD are visible on my work computer, but when I put the CD into my computer at home, the files don't show up at all. It appears they don't exist. The device manager says my CD Drive is working. All my other CDs are working fine on my CD drive. Please help solve the mystery before my child fails reading. Thanks!

Get a USB Thumbdrive. use your work PC to copy the files to the thumbdrive.
Transfer from that to your home PC.

Is the disk a DVD? Is it a recorded CD?

What exactly happens when you open the CD to look at the files on the home computer? Does it not see the disk at all or does it see an empty disk?

Help me Jebus!
