i have got a problem with my CD-RW . the problem is the my system is not able to detect the drive. its not even showing the drive icon in 'my computer'. i uninstalled the cd drive , went to add new hardware wizard and it detected the cd drive. but displayed a mesg " problem while installing the hardware,the hard ware may not work". I tested my drive with another computer and its working fine . pls any one tell me what to do. is there problem with the drivers . do i need to reinstall my windows? this problem came when iam installing the Easy cd creator (cd burining software) . it was working fine before and suddenly my system is not detecting the cd rom . any one pls reply soon..
