Hi,
I've just installed a plexwriter w4012ta cdrw as master and am trying to keep my samsung sc148 cdrom as slave. However when I try to run them both together my viglen monitor raturns a no signal input.
I'm using a Gigabyte 7VTXH+ motherboard, Athlon 1.4Ghz cpu and an ATI rage pro graphics card. My power supply is ATX12v 300w.
Any suggestions,
thanks, Rob

Are you sure that the jumper settings are correct? Usually, if the computer does not emit a signal to the monitor, then the computer will stop booting because of an IDE Placement conflict. Also, you should see that the hard disk light will remain on for the same reason. After a minute or so, the computer will beep a few times and halt booting up.

Make sure that all the cables are plugged in correctly and that all of the jumpers are installed correctly in their specific location.
