can someone please help.my cd burner will
play cd's even the ones i have burned no
problem.But now when i put a blank cd in to
record the tray shuts and my whole computer
freezes.Th

I have run into this before esspecially if you are using Easy CD Creator. Try uninstalling your Cd burning software then reinstalling it.

Also FYI, if it is a MSI Dragon Writer burner that was just installed, and you are using a ASUS A7A133 MoBO (Which I am a fan of ASUS) then you need to ditch the MSI burner for another. I went through 13 MSI burners (exchanged 13 times) cause they would not write, but they would read. I tried 3 diferent CD software programs too. It turned out that the CDRW's firmware was not playing nice with my MoBo.

I have had great luck with my BENQ brand burner. It is really cheap, but works great!
