This might seem a silly question.. but I bought a new PC case which has 3 ventilation fans. Where exactly do you connect the fans?

Check your motherboard manual. Most likely there are headers for the chassis fans on the motherboard. Also, you can use a molex connector from the power supply (large white connectors, like the ones that connect to your CD/DVD). You may need adapters depending upon what type of plugs are attached to the fans.

It depends on what sort of connectors are on the case fans and/or your motherboard. If the fans have a three wire connector about 3/8 inch wide then look for male connectors on the motherboard to match. Usually on the motherboard they are white, or red and have a tab sticking up to fit between the two smaller tabs on the female connector. Check your motherboard manual for "fan headers". If you do not have enough "fan headers" you can buy adapter dongles to connect them into standard hard drive molex connectors. Also there is a chance the fans might have come spliced into a small length molex extension cable.

Ok thanks guys.

One more thing though. Which fans should suck and which fans should blow?

The front fan(s) should blow in.

The back fan(s) should blow out.
