Case Fan Setup

I was reading on AMD's website about how using front mounted case fans generally just stir up or recirculate warm air rather than help the vaccuum flow and bring cool air in the case. Has anyone else heard about this or have something to contradict this theory?

I have heard that the general flow of air should be from the front of the case to back of the case. and the best way to do that is to have one fan in front sucking 'cool' air in, and one in the back blowing hot air out.
hope this helps!

Gary, A rear mounted fan is better than a front mount if the case has a good vent in the front. I just changed to an InWin case with a rear fan and it is super cool chopk
Summary: I want to get some case fans and fit them, but I was wondering how to 'configure' them. I know my case, small though it is, has spaces at the front and back for fitting fans, but I don't know what way...

Summary: 1st of all, you didn't state your system & CPU temps. Cooler = faster? Explain this statement. More RPMs = more air = more noise! You don't need to install a bunch of case fans to cool your system, "...
