I've just installed a new motherboard (aopen mx36le-v ,370 pin, 100/133mhz fsb support)and cpu (celeron 1 ghz) both new. I've connected everything (double checked)but when I boot, the moniter does not start it stays on standby, so I cant see if I'm in the setup to load the settings. Its not the moniter as I've tried another and it does the same thing. :-( can someone please help me. cheers.
First of all is your monitor plugged into your graphics adapter. I need to know whether or not you graphics are integrated onto the Motherboard. If they aren't then check to see if the graphics card is supported by the Mobo and is pushed in all the way. Also you do hear a single beeb when you turn it on right? if you don't it may be more then just the graphics adapter.
Keep us posted

You said no beep that may be a prob. but if you got an AGP slot and a spare vid card try using it. You might try contacting aopen with the problem. I don't know if its the graphics adapter or the Board not working at all.
