maybe the partition got lost
partition recovery software would be helpful. try this one-Data Recovery Wizard. download at Easeus's website

Do you mean the Volume Label? Or drive letter?

Not sure what you are asking?
But i think you are looking for My Computer,Disk Drive. Right Click on Drive then Properties then enter your label.
