cant install USB MFP

Epson RX425: Ran the software prompted to plug it in and did so but windows says its a USB MFP and then i cant install any of the drivers for it, however i did the same with my laptop and it recognized it straight away and installed it. Laptop is running Home and both with SP2. Any ideas?
