Im trying to reformat my main hard drive to install Windows 7 but I can't get into BIOS. When my computer first starts up and is shows the ASUS screen it says "Press DEL to enter BIOS/SETUP". Well ive tried spamming it, holding it down and every other combination you can think for like ESC, TAB, SPACEBAR, F-KEYS and so on. This is getting really annoying and I can't find a solution. Help would be appreciated. Motherboard - ASUS M3A
USB keyboard? Try using a PS/2 keyboard.
Dont have a PS/2 Keyboard :-( I don't even think I can buy a keyboard now days without it having a USB connection.
The keyboard is probably the problem. I switched to PS2 and DEL works. Watch the lights on your keyboard. They should come on as soon as the POST starts with PS2. USB will not.
You can buy an adapter which will allow you to plug a USB keyboard into the PS/2 port.
