Replacing PSU. Cant get the main power connector off the board. Appreciate that I should be pressing down on the lever on the side and pulling. However it doesn't want to shift. Reluctant to use too much force.

Any tips?

thanks

Be careful!

Might to need to take it apart more to access this area better.

While holding down the lever, push down a little and then lift.

I just had the very same problem...

The main power connector had actually burned and melted it into the board....instant soddering!

Check the sides with a flashlight to make sure you see no cinging.

I had to take the board out and pry it off with a screwdriver edge.

Hope you dont have the same problem...

It fried my motherboard....sigh
