Hey guys and gals, after researching this problem for the last two days I still can't find a remedy to my problem and was trying to find other posts that might lead me to an answer, but woe it was in vain. I've got an OLD P1MMX266 with a titanium 1 board. everything boots normally and it finds the HD and CD and Floppy but I can't get an a:/ prompt even with a boot disk. I've pressed every button known to man but have yet to find the cofig for getting to fdisk, F8, F5, F2, cntrl-alt, etc. Any hints?

Clyde

Does the Floppy disk drive light flash at boot up? Fdisk is usually typed from the Command line( A: prompt) and you go from there. Has the floppy beeen turned off in the Bios?

Yes, it reads the Boot Disk, I've gotten it to read the first part of the win98 CD to get to setup and then it reboots and kills the process. I've tried 3 different HD's and still can't get any to go, and can't get into to FDISK to reformat and partition.

Assuming windows are still running have you
tried START>ACCESSORIES>DOS PROMPT ?
At C:\ you might be able to get something
going.

Nope, no windows at all. I did have one Drive that would boot to the win98 password screen before it would load windows but that was it, and I can't erase it cuz I can't fdisk or format.
