I just recently purchase a diablo geforce 6200 512mb, I have an asus a7v133 motherboard, with 512 of sdram when I put the new video card in, as soon as I press the power button, i get lines on my screen like pinstripes all over the screen, I tried to install the drivers as soon as the computer boots up but I still have the same problem. My agp is 4x and i got email from tigerdirect that it was 4x compatible, I hope you guys can help me please, thank you. I also updated the Bios.

Either the card is defective or your power supply can't handle the added load. Being that the 6200 is a weak/low end card, I doubt power is the problem. Return/exchange the card for something else & I highly suggest you avoid the 6200. And get some more RAM while you're at it....512MB isn't enough to run XP decently.

Here's a MUCH better card:

And if you don't have a copy, here's a link to your manual:

I have a 400w power supply, do you think thats enough? i bought more ram, 3 sticks of 512 sdram they r coming next week. The funny part is when i email tigerdirect about the problem they said to unplug my system first before installing the card. The lines it creates may have been with the extra voltage it has on the board. I will probably end up exchanging the video card, thank you for your answer, u been great help.
