Through Nero I downloaded a Music CD onto my Hard Drive with intent to make a copy. Could not make copy right away but now that I have time I can't locate the file put into my PC. Any idea where to find it? I tried search by CD Title but did not come up with anything.

I didn't think Nero was capable of downloading any music files.

If you did download an album you can look in My Documents for any folders related to music.

I also didn't think Nero could download CDs.

Why not do the download again and this time watch where it goes.

From where did you download the CD? Do you mean you copied it from an original? Or did you pay for a download from a site?

You'd have to do the search for the name of the downloaded file, which may not be the same as the cd title.

You could also do a search for all files with the same extension. For example, if it was a typical mp3 file you could search for all mp3 files and then scan through the results for that specific download.

just go to run/search and then type in *.mp3
and you should find your song

Actually, you will probably find it in my documents in my music folder. It may be entitled unknown, so check out the folders in there
