Hi everyone. I have an old computer that i'm trying to do something with. The motherboard is a Biostar M7VKQ. I only have the motherboard, the floppy, mouse and keyboard plugged. I can't enter the BIOS for some reason. When i press delete to enter the BIOS it just restart everytime. It won't boot on the floppy either. I tried 2 different floopy, mouse and keyboard just in case. If i let it go pass the HD message, it will also reboot. I also tried it with HD who as Windows in it but it just reboot.
So the question is simple, what is the problem and how can i fix it if it can be fix?

Eliminate the possible problems. You don't need a mouse, floppy, optical drive, or HDD connected to the board to be able to access the BIOS. All you need is the CPU w/HSF, one stick of RAM, video w/monitor, & the keyboard.
Make sure your HSF is installed correctly & the proper amount of thermal material was used.

have you tried F2 on bootup?
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Hi and thanks for the answers
---Do you have any memory installed on the motherboard?
Yes
---have you tried F2 on bootup?
Yes, doesn't do anything

I tried exactly what you said, just cpu, 1 stick of ram, monitor (video, audio, network are onboard) and keyboard. Same result, as soon as i hit the del key, the computer just reboot instead of accessing the BIOS.
Is that board dead? Anyway to fix this?
