Ok, I think I'm going to go insane:
I cannot find any options under my ADVANCED BIOS section, (Award Software v. 6.00pg)((motherboard: Gigabyte 7vm400m-rz) except for the options of boot priorities. I need to disable my cache/shadowing and cannot find it anywhere in CMOS.. I updated my bios using @bios, but I can't seem to do it right, because after I rebootit all looks the same. I don't know if I have a limited BIOS, or maybe I just don't have any of those options because I did something wrong.. thank you in advance for your help, cynthia

I just got a new motherboard and in the bios I see caching and shawdowing options, but on the motherboard that was just taken out of my computer I could not find any adjustment for caching and shawdowing and it was a Gigabyte motherboard, so maybe yours does not show it either.
