I have tried to defrag and it wont,in my report i have a file called \recycler\nprotect\00002422,23,24... .tmp. these i know are temporary files but my disk is completely fragmented and the files are 1.77 gigs each. My system is running fine but I want to take care of this before it gets out of hand thanks Z

My guess is that you have the "Norton Protected Recycle Bin" installed. Right click the Recycle Bin and there should be an extra option to empty it and delete the files.
