Which technology in notebooks is fastest these days?

"One is an intel m 380 and one an amd sempron, both 1.6ghz" It would help if you list the CPUs correctly. One is a Celeron-M 380, the other is a Sempron64 3200+. The Celeron system has a motherboard based on the SiS M661MX chipset. The Sempron64 system has a motherboard based on the ATI Radeon Xpress 1100. Personally, I'd take a Sempron64/ATI over the Celeron-M/SiS any day of the week.

Got some time? Great! Did you hear about the exploding laptop batteries? Wait until they come up with a new Battery Standrad for laptops. By then the newer model will be more tailored to it than current laptops. i_XpUser
