Problem: mom tried to install full version of win98 over her win95, followed (she thinks) directions from microsoft website. this is what happened: 1)created a 95 start up disk, checked for fdisk.exe and format.com on the disk, restarted computer into msdos mode 2) typed A:FDISK pressed enter, deleted all partitions (not sure what exactly happened here), create a primary dos partition and set to active, exit fdisk and restart by pressing ctrl+alt+del HERE'S WHERE THE PROBLEM SURFACED: after restart she was to put in formatc:/s, but never got the chance, computer started to boot and then just stuck saying missing operating system... I've tried: booting from win95 boot disk, win98 boot disk, to no avail. I can't get to dos to do anything either, i can't even got to dos, I can however get into the rom pci/isa bios standard bios setup by pressing del at startup, but not sure what to do there, i don't want to change anything until i'm sure what to change. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. I have the full version disks of win95 and win98 also, but can't get the computer to read any of the drives at startup, is there a setting in bios that i should change, and if so, where and what would it be, please make this dummy proof for me, lol. Thank you in advance for your help!!
