Comment: I'm trying to boot from one of 2 cd drives (cyberdrv cw088d cd-r/rw and a toshiba dvd rom). When I have one or the other selected as first in the boot order, nothing happens. My motherboard is ASUS via a7v333 and I have the version 1012 bios installed. If anyone knows what might be wrong please help... I was thinking that I might need to update bios or install flash (even though I don't know what flash is...) Thanks, Travis

Reply: (edit)I once had the same motherboard. It was very reliable. I don't know if a bios update will fix your problem, but your version 1012 is not the latest. The most recent is version 1015. You can get it here: BIOS 1015
