OS: Win 2000
CPU/Ram: 1Ghz/128Mb

K7T Pro 1 MSI 6330 Ver 1.0 / AMD 1Ghz /128 Apacer memory-1 piece *****sudden failure*****

I have a problem with my board which suddenly can't
boot up even the display.


The diagnostic LED become all red.


-Action taken.

Change battery
Pull out all IDE and floppy ribbon cable
change memory module (64 Apacer only)

All above gives me same result.


left only AGP card and motherboard but no display as
well. Although i change a PCI card to test, gives me
the same problem.


Only sometimes the Diagnostic LED gives me 0010 (2345)
according to the manual is initializing keyboard. This
only happen sometimes and mostly all RED.


The H/D led in the casing always on.

Pls help

Well, unfortunately, if you have just memory and video installed and you still can't get a POST from the mother board then the board is almost certainly bad. Specifically, it sounds like the IO controller but you should get video in this case so chances are it's something more. Have you tried a different CPU?
