can't boot after 'trap' msg

I installed a gigabyte GA-8SR533 MB. It booted to dos ok. I tried to hook up my second floppy and received a 'trap' error msg. Unfortunately, I thought i had just hooked up the floppy wrong, and so didn't take down the exact msg. Now with the one floppy that worked before, the machine won't boot. Fan starts up and HD but video doesn't 'click on' and it just sits.
